For my art projects, I practiced using different lines, textures, and details to make my drawings more realistic. Looking at other artists helped me understand how they used different techniques and gave me new ideas for my own artwork. I also learned that paying attention to small details could make a big difference in a drawing.
While drawing from different artists, I learned and practiced different techniques that I could use in my own artwork. Each artist had a different style, which helped me experiment with shading, lines, textures, and details. Trying these different techniques helped me become more comfortable with drawing and understand how different artists create their own unique styles.
I visited the Van Gogh exhibit two years ago, so it was exciting to be able to do something I had seen before and really enjoyed. Seeing the chair that I had drawn reminded me of my previous experience and made the project more meaningful to me. I enjoyed being able to connect something I had seen in the past with my artwork and create my own drawing from it.
